Meet the Newman ELC Team!
Dr. Patty Newman, Owner/Director
With over 20 years of experience in education, Dr. Patty Newman is passionate about creating high-quality early learning experiences. She spent nearly 15 years as an early childhood teacher before moving into higher education, where she played a key role in overseeing a teacher preparation program, taught courses in Early Childhood, Elementary, Special Education, and Classroom Management, and supervised field and student teaching. Most recently, she worked as a special education co-teacher in an inclusive classroom for children ages 3-5.
As a dedicated educator and mother of three (ages 14, 1.5, and 4 months), Dr. Newman understands the importance of a nurturing, engaging, and supportive learning environment. With the support of her wonderful husband, Victor, she is excited to bring her expertise and passion to Newman Early Learning Center, where children can grow, explore, and thrive.
Mrs. Rebecca, Lead Infant Room Teacher
Mrs. Rebecca has over 10 years of experience in the field of education. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Education from Rowan College at Burlington County and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She has experience in most age groups in early childhood, but her heart is with the youngest kiddos, the infants! She loves watching them grow and learn more everyday! She has a 5 month old son, and loves chocolate chip cookies, soaps, and candles.
